Geneva, 14 Sep 2021 - Taurus, the Swiss leader in digital assets infrastructure, is pleased to announce that it successfully integrated the Cardano blockchain, including staking capabilities, into its institutional-grade platform. Cardano is available immediately and was designed to fully support the Alonzo hard fork, which took place on September 12.
Staying at the forefront of innovation
Taurus’ clients can now collect staking rewards on Cardano using Taurus-PROTECT, the leading digital asset custody platform in Europe. In addition, Taurus has expanded Taurus-EXPLORER, its blockchain connectivity infrastructure, to support Cardano.
This integration responds to the growing institutional demand for Cardano for battle-tested Proof-of-Stake ("PoS") blockchain protocols.
At the time of writing, investment banks, online banks, private banks, as well as crypto banks will start using Cardano, leveraging Taurus’ infrastructure.
