Geneva, April 2022: Banque Delubac & Cie, founded in 1924, is collaborating with Taurus to launch its digital asset offering. The Bank uses Taurus-PROTECT and Taurus-EXPLORER solutions for the secure custody of digital assets and connectivity to around ten blockchains, as well as T-DX.com, the first regulated marketplace for tokenised assets. It is the first bank in France to obtain a DASP registration and thus offer digital assets to its customers.

This new collaboration, and first ever in France, confirms significant demand from banks domiciled in the European Union and Taurus' leadership position among regulated and sophisticated market players in Europe.
Premiere in France, first Bank to register as Digital Asset Service Provider
The regulatory framework in France was gradually adjusted starting from 2019 through the PACTE law and the creation of a status of Digital Asset Service Provider (“DASP”) allowing institutions to provide digital assets custody and brokerage activities with the minimum compliance and security standards required by the regulator.
Following its registration as a DASP with the AMF (Financial Markets Authority) and the ACPR (Prudential Control and Resolution Authority) in France, Banque Delubac & Cie becomes the first French bank ever to obtain this status and provide services of digital assets in France. This development represents an important signal in the French and the European union banking sector.
Industrial collaboration
In concrete terms, the Bank and Taurus have collaborated to offer custody and brokerage of digital assets to the Bank's institutional and private clients.
- Taurus-PROTECT is used for the custody of digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, tokenized securities as well as NFTs;
- Taurus-EXPLORER is used for the connectivity of >10 blockchain protocols;
- T-DX is used as a regulated marketplace to access liquidity for tokenised assets;
